Move over John Bull.....

A proper, grown up, printing set just for me.

With numbers and letters...upper case and lower case,

And various stamps in different fonts....

Per lb, per doz, per packet, per bottle etc

In its original box with the title "Silent Salesman"..... I think I am going to have a bit of fun labeling my stock from now on.

( When I get the spacing right that is...)

A total bargain from one of my fellow exhibitors,

Especially for me,

It had my name on.....

  1. William Caxton eat your heart out! To say I'm envious would be the understatement. Enjoy playing, my advice is don't try to make the printing too perfect; that's part of its charm.

  2. we're so easily pleased aren't we? I have a 1930s stencil set which I just soooo love, and I'm also hankering after one of those Dymo plastic label printers...

  5. Ooooooh hours of fun . . . . Love it Julie. In a few weeks time you will wonder how you ever lived without it, after all . . . . . . . however did you fill in all that spare time you had before?
You can print fabrics, cards, personalised gifts . . . . . . . . I see The cloth shed going global with this ????

  7. I have a very similar set and I can't tell you how much fun I've had with it....my friends like playing with it too - I also had a bit of trouble with spacing - I'm sure you are already lining up the word before you print out? I have a ruler thingy in mine which helps.
No rude words! ha ha ha

  10. How beautiful. I have a cute 60s farm animal printing set, but there is only so much you can do with pigs and cows! This is something else.
