Vintage and Retro Fair.....

A few bits and pieces that will be coming with me to the Vintage and Retro Fair at New College, Durham on Bank Holiday Monday ......30th August 2010 (www.ccevents.net )

A lovely leather Waldybag with purse and mirror, some stout ladies brogues in great condition....ideal for the vintage look....

Vintage Sanderson curtains with a hunting/coaching scene, a delicate hand embroidered bag, a sweet little hankie holder with a satin ribbon and  flower detail for someone called Nora....

This panel of woolwork embroidery would make a lovely cushion cover....

Don't you think the detail of the flowers is wonderful....especially the foxgloves.....

Have a good, long weekend.....

P.S...update on the blue shabby chair...it is staying the way it is and coming with me on Monday!

  7. Love the embroidery and the little delicate hand embroidered bag, they are gorgeous. The Cotswold Vintage fair was lovely, you would have enjoyed it. Good luck tomorrow at the fair, one day I will travel up to see you.

  8. Ah, if only I lived a little closer to Durham! ;-D I hope you have a great day at the fair!

I love the iron "cups" below, not to mention the gorgeous bowling balls! As for the rusty shoe lasts, they are wonderful too, and I happened to lay my hands on two like that at a steam fair a few months ago. There were plenty, so it is amazing I managed to stop myself from buying them all!

    Have a good week!
