Autumn Fair........
Some new decorative pieces for The Autumn Fair this weekend at Rheged Discovery Centre, Penrith, Cumbria.....(see top sidebar for further details.)
A pretty, glazed cabinet for a bathroom...
A dummy board......life size, handpainted wooden vase and flowers.....to sit on a windowsill or in a fireplace perhaps?
And the dinkiest washboard and tub on its own wooden stand......
so cute!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and a big thank you everyone who takes the time to leave a comment.....it is very much appreciated!

Some lovely things again Julie, I love the little cupboard with it's chippy paint work - always partial to a bit of chippy paintwork! I wish I didn't live so far away as I would love to come to the fairs that you do. Good luck at the fair and hope you do well.

Oooh, ,lovely things - super little cabinet - and I love the tiny washboard and tub! I wonder if The Washerwoman (http://thewasherwoman.blogspot.com/) has seen it?! Good luck at the Autumn Fair :)
ReplyDeleteWe stopped at Rheged both going to and coming back from the Lake District. There was a super photography exhibition on. Sorry can't be there this weekend - although maybe it's just as well, or I would be bankrupt buying all your goodies!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I am so glad you are following my blog, because I got to discover yours! Love your style, I have a really similar taste for Scandanavian/country/vintage pieces and am wondering how I may politely get my hands on some of your lovely Cloth Shed items!! Do you sell online at all?
ReplyDeleteMy dad is a Northumbrian, born and brought up in Cambo and then Bitchfield near Belsay - I don't know if that is your neck of the woods?I still have family in Bolam, and we visit occasionally - it is such a stunning part of England. Belinda
I love the cupboard! Hope you do really well at the fair.

Hi I'm with Jo & wish that I could visit your fairs, I would certainly shove her out of the way to get to the cabinet! :-)
ReplyDeleteI too would love to visit one of your fairs, but distance and time are working against me at the mo... That little wash board is adorable and I imagine it will be snapped up in a blink!
ReplyDeleteYou lucky thing! To stay in a National Trust property in Lacock - not a bad way to spend a day/night!!! And yes, isn't Lacock gorgeous! I never tire of strolling around there, going for walks in the countryside surrounding the village, or just going there for cream tea at the Tea Rooms and Gardens. I feel very blessed it is within walking distance from home, or just seven minutes in the car...
All the best hope you have a lovely weekend at the fair!

You do find some really nice things. What a shame I live so far away. I have enjoyed going back quite a way re-reading your posts and looking at your great photos. Think you and I share a penchant for F & B's French Grey and red and white toile de jouey!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of things - I especially love the cupboard - your too far away to visit the fair - what a shame.
ReplyDeletehave a lovely week.
