Made in Britain....


Flying the flag for British made vintage with yesterday's spoils from the Antique Fair at Hexham....


A full size Union Flag....British made. 


A pink silk scarf with famous landmarks of London.....



                                            Made in England.


And a couple of embroidered pictures from 1935, made in the North of England.......





I remember that rhyme....we used to recite it before we ate our school dinner when I was very small.......aah memories.....

    Hi, Julie - you bought some lovely things (I remember reciting that rhyme too!!) - hope you sold as well. That Union flag wouldn't have looked nearly so good on an orange mannequin! Abby x

    We used to sing that rhyme at my first school - the dinners that followed were fairly awful though as I remember!

    We used to say that 'Grace' rhyme at school too .... dinners were good but then my mum was one of the cooks! Hated processed peas and prunes .... yuk!

    Lovely finds Julie, and yes, I too remember that little rhyme, it brought back some lovely memories for me...I loved school dinners, proper home cooked food back then.

    Great finds. It seems we all had to recite that (we sang it) but sometimes the school dinners were so horrible they didn't want a 'thankyou'!

    I love your finds, the embroidered pictures are beautiful, I always buy them when I see them and have a small collection of them now. The silk scarf with the london pictures is wonderful too.

    I'm sooo jealous... I would do anything to go to a fair in the UK again... How I miss jumble sales, car booting etc. Hopefully I'll be visiting Blighty this Spring and I'll be able to bring some treasures back. I'm your new follower Laura. Good to meet you! Lx
