The same table.......
Don't you just love it when you are flicking through one of your favourite magazines.....Country Homes and Interiors ( Jan 2011 ) and you think..... mmm....I like that table......
Simple lines, straight legs, nice handles, good colour......
The table "sits" somewhere in your head..... and you move on through the pages.
Then a few days later you get the opportunity to buy a table.......
Which makes you gasp, because you have seen it somewhere before.
Same simple lines, same straight legs.....same handles.
What are the chances of that happening?
So, having been jet washed, treated for woodworm and rapidly drying out in the kitchen..... I will soon have the task of sanding and painting....
Now, where did I put that paint chart?
Have a lovely weekend....

Wow that's a find and a half! I'm on the look out for something similar, but I don't think I will be as lucky as you! Looking forward to seeing the end product!

Wow that is amazing, no wonder you are so pleased. I bet it will look stunning when it is finally done.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if that is serendipity or synchonicity but it's very lucky!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table Julie, it will look stunning painted, what colour are you thinking of? I know it will be F&B of course.

Will you explain how you jet wash a piece of furniture (unless a trade secret!), I sometimes see pieces with potential but don't know how to clean them efficiently? Gorgeous side table by the way.
ReplyDeleteWow, brilliant luck. What a fab table - it's going to look great painted. Have a lovely weekend. Abby
