Pretty pieces...

A few more pretty pieces have found their way to The Cloth Shed this week....

A frilled edge vintage pillowcase with a large hand embroidered "S"

A Bohemian milk glass storage jar hand painted with flowers....

A pretty watercolour of flowers that extends onto the mount....

No, not another eiderdown......

but a single duvet cover looking spookily like eiderdown rosy fabric....it came with a pair of pretty lined Laura Ashley curtains which provided the backdrop to the above photos ( I suppose LA take inspiration from old fabric too )

Have a good weekend....back soon with hopefully new purchases from Durham this Sunday....

  1. Very pretty things! Love the material - a lovely pattern, and it looks a good texture. I like the way the flowers trail in the picture too. Thanks for your comments! Have a good weekend! Abby x

  4. Have fun at Durham - I have just left a comment on Helen's blog to say hello to you, so now I'll ask you to say hello to her!! That's a rather strange comment in (I think) Spanish - I recognise some of the words from when I did my O level many years ago!!
